Evidence of the UMMOA's Existence

René Descartes once wrote, "Cogito ergo sum". English: I think, therefore I am.

This idea comes from Descartes' deconstruction of existence. After discarding everything as inadequate evidence that he existed at all, he finally realised that he could not doubt his own doubts. If someone wonders whether or not he exists, that is, in and of itself, proof that he does exist.

Technical, theoretical, scholarly, activist, linguistic, honorary, dishonorary, legal, media, Common law, Lex mercatoria, Singular law, Statutory law, Corporate law, Customary law, Canon law, and International law evidence is provided below to prove the existence of the United Micronations Multi-Oceanic Archipelago (UMMOA) as a nation and state beyond the shadow of a doubt.

1. DNS EVIDENCE (Technical)

On 19 January 2008 the www.ummoa and www.amomu domains came alive in the Cesidian Root. As a result of this action, the United Micronations Multi-Oceanic Archipelago (UMMOA) now maintains the .UMMOA and .AMOMU ccTLDs:

The Cesidian Root, which was the foundation of the UMMOA, was started on 30 September 2005, years before the UMMOA came into existence. It became a full-fledged root on 23 November 2005, and on 11 January 2006 it became a complete Internet. On 8 March 2006, the Cesidian Root also became an intercontinental Internet with the addition of root servers in North America, and now the Cesidian Root is a global Internet with over 30 root servers in Europe, North America, Asia, Australia-Oceania, South America, and Sub-Saharan Africa regions. It currently resolves the entire ICANN namespace (316 TLDs), as well as 152 additional TLDs.

We are aware of few states and/or organisations around the world capable of maintaining a DNS root. Since the Cesidian Root is an UMMOA-incorporated, and UMMOA citizen-run company this, in turn, provides strong evidence for the existence of the UMMOA not only as a nation, but as a highly capable nation.

2. EVIDENCE OF PAYMENT OF MONTHLY UTILITY BILLS (Common law or jus commune)

The Cesidian Root is an alternative DNS root with root servers on three continents. All these servers need to be maintained, and some servers are maintained for maximum reliability through data centres. The case of the town of Monticello, Minnesota, verses TDS Telecom, a local telco [1, 2], demonstrates that Internets like the Cesidian Root are utilities. As any current monthly utility bill is evidence of residency, this provides strong de facto or Common law evidence for the existence of the UMMOA.

3. EVIDENCE OF ECONOMIC TRANSACTIONS & ASSETS (Lex mercatoria)

The UMMOA Government will provide full disclosure and paper evidence of its minute national assets when the Federal Reserve System (the "Fed") is audited by Congress with full transparency and accountability, according to the requirements of the Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2009 [1, 2].

4. EVIDENCE THAT CYBERTERRA WAS VISITED BY HUMAN BEINGS (Singular law or jus singulare)

The City of Cyberterra (second map) was founded on the Internet as a metrosite or virtual realm on 8 September 2002 (M:17J2002). On 3 January 2010 the Mayor of Cyberterra established its terrestrial coordinates by convention to be 43°0'0" North and 15°0'0" East, a point in the middle of the Adriatic Sea.

On 24 February 2010, the missing link between territorial and virtual cities is found when it is discovered that the City of Cyberterra had been visited in the past by two Germans, Christian Kapik and Agnes Fakesch. So it was discovered that Cyberterra is not just a virtual realm, but also a cybernetic realm (or κυβερνήτης ― kyvernítis). 5. EVIDENCE OF INCORPORATIONS (Corporate law)

The UMMOA incorporates for profit companies and non-profit organisations, and has also incorporated international organisations, some not even Ummoagian (Um·moa·gi·an) in origin.

There are UMMOA incorporations in two jurisdictions: Cyberterra (CT) and Fifth World Community (5WC). Each of these jurisdictions controls its own top-level domain (TLD) in the Cesidian Root.

CT incorporations are for organisations which are virtual or non-land-based in nature, while 5WC incorporations are for organisations which are land-based.

6. THEORETICAL EVIDENCE FOR THE UMMOA PRIOR TO ITS ACTUAL EXISTENCE (Theoretical)

On 16 February 2004, the HMRD Cesidio Tallini founds the field of Analytic theology. This new field provides the mathematical-geometric foundations of Paradise (or Utopia). Analytic theology is a new field of human endeavour which is showing promising applications in many fields: Anthropology, Astrology, Biology, Chemistry, Communication, Economics, Esotericism, Ethics, Geography, History, Law, Linguistics, Management, Medicine, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Religion, Sociology, and Theology. Early analytic theology findings showed that the field of law, but also the field of human history, are evolving in a pattern similar to the likely evolution of the human brain. An introduction to this new field can be found in the book, All Religions Are Cults: And What a Few Good Priests, Monks, Rabbis and Mullahs Can Do About It.

Analytic theology also provided theoretical evidence for what would later become the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifthteenth components of the UMMOA, ie what later materialised into Cyberterra as the world's first cybernetic realm; into the Fifth World Community (5WC) as the world's first diaxenospitia; and into the Great Pacific Garbage Patch (GPGP), the world's first other kind of diaxenospitia (made out of scattered garbage, rather than scattered buildings), which is in turn regulated by the Great Pacific Garbage Patch Treaty (GPGPT). Summary	This book is ecumenical, interreligious, and metareligious in nature. It may have a provocative title, but it is the subtitle that says what the book is really about. The book is not simply an attack on religion, but offers ideas for improving religion, any religion. 8. STAMPED VISA EVIDENCE (International law)

Article 1 of the Montevideo Convention, an accurate statement of customary international law, states

The state as a person of international law should possess the following qualifications: (a) a permanent population; (b) a defined territory; (c) government; and (d) capacity to enter into relations with the other states.

With a population of several dozen largely unrelated people; a defined territory comprising the UMMOA's 25 national components; and a government comprised of a Governor, the HMRD Cesidio Tallini, and a Lieutenant Governor, the Hon. Peter Dambier; it is clear that the UMMOA possesses several of the characteristics of a state. Moreover, a Treaty signed with the Sovereign Order of St. John of Jerusalem (Knights of Malta), and a Memorandum of Understanding with the République du Kabinda, provides strong evidence of the UMMOA's capacity to enter into relations with the other states.

On 28 November 2007, the Cesidian Church beatified René Descartes, and issued a "Saint René Descartes Declaration" urging support for his canonisation.


In response to this declaration, several persons from various walks of life and different denominations, even an atheist, have signed the petition in favour of Descartes' canonisation, and together with the Bishop of the Cesidian Church, two bishops and one archbishop have expressed their favour for Descartes' sainthood. Saint René Descartes was consecrated the First Saint of the Cesidian Church on 13 December 2007:

Today, Saint René Descartes is the Patron Saint of Cyberterra, the UMMOA's Capital (also the episcopal see of the Bishop of Cyberterra), and Saint René Descartes' feast day is celebrated on 13 December every year.

While the Commonwealth Nations Research Society (CNRS), the Federation of International Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Organisations (FIBCO), and the Organization of Emerging African States (OEAS) are new international organisations without major recognition, the International (States) Parliament for Safety and Peace [I(S)PSP] is an older intergovernmental organisation of states which enjoys full de jure recognition under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations (1961), and the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations (1963). This provides strong evidence that the UMMOA is already a subject of international law.

As the Wikipedia states,

Traditionally, sovereign states and the Holy See were the sole subjects of international law. With the proliferation of international organi(s)ations over the last century, they have in some cases been recogni(s)ed as relevant parties as well. Recent interpretations of international human rights law, international humanitarian law, and international trade law (e.g., North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Chapter 11 actions) have been inclusive of corporations, and even of certain individuals. If single powerful individuals like the HMRD Cesidio Tallini can be considered subjects of international law; if powerful corporations like the Cesidian Root can be considered subjects of international law; then how much more so nations-states like the UMMOA — already comprising citizens like the HMRD Cesidio Tallini, and incorporating organisations like the Cesidian Root — are subjects of international law, a nation and a community of nations in its own right, which is in turn recognised by a de jure international organisation.

On 7 January 2011, the HMRD Cesidio Tallini claimed a piece of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch (GPGP).

The Great Pacific Garbage Patch, also described as the Pacific Trash Vortex, is a gyre of marine litter in the central North Pacific Ocean. There is some dispute as to the size of the patch, but it extends over an indeterminate area, with estimates ranging very widely, depending on the degree of plastic concentration used to define the affected area. Moreover, a continuous unbroken patch does indeed exist, it is actually about one-100th the size of Texas [1], and nobody is cleaning it up, and too few are helping some effective effort towards that end.

To this end, the Governor of the UMMOA launched the Great Pacific Garbage Patch Treaty (GPGPT) initiative:

So far, over fifteen micronations have cosigned this international treaty, and even the leaders of sovereign states may cosign the treaty.

In June 2011, the HMRD Cesidio Tallini realised that the Great Pacific Garbage Patch is a lot worse than originally thought. Moreover, scientists have found a matching patch in the Atlantic Ocean that stretches for thousands of square miles, and it is likely that other extensive patches of oceanic garbage exist in still more places around the globe.

On 23 June 2011, the HMRD Cesidio Tallini launched the Multi-Oceanic Garbage Patch Treaty (MOGPT) initiative:

18. 'NOT LOST IN TRANSLATION' EVIDENCE (Linguistic)

The acronym United Micronations Multi-Oceanic Archipelago (UMMOA) translates into Italian as Arcipelago Multi-Oceanico delle Micronazioni Unite (AMOMU). While a human being can translate "United Micronations Multi-Oceanic Archipelago" accurately with some difficulty, and translation programs are usually not sophisticated enough to put the words in the right intelligible order, the evidence that some authoritative translation programs can accurately translate the English acronym "UMMOA" into the Italian "AMOMU" correctly, and vice versa, is not something you would expect from a state with limited recognition.

19. EVIDENCE OF NEW DIALECTS (Linguistic)

While UMMOA nationals or Ummoagians speak a very peculiar variety of English, this English dialect, Fifth World English, is being adopted with greater and greater frequency among Fifth Worlders in general:

It should be noted here that while the word Fifth Worlder and micronationalist have almost identical meanings, the latter term is usually used in a disparaging form. In fact, while the term Fifth World is an endonym used in a highly sophisticated or academic way, the term micronation is an exonym and a very pedestrian term [1].

There are many positive connotations to the German endonym Deutsch, but the Italian exonym tedesco is very different in form, and not always associated with positive or neutral attributes.

The same applies to the terms Fifth World and micronational, even though both are in English. The term Fifth World always implies a real, non-ephemeral nationality, while the term micronational is often used to imply fictitious nationality, or nationality entirely due to some person's or group's eccentricity.

It has been noted by sociologists of religion that the words sect and cult are often used interchangeably, even though there is a distinct difference. The word sect doesn't tend to be neutral, and it is generally a term of abuse used by those who belong to the 'mainstream' institution; is used by governments wary of small/new groups; and is used in the sensationalist press. The word cult doesn't tend to be neutral either, and is most often used to describe a religious group built around a charismatic leader.

In the same way, while the term Fifth World is very sophisticated and precise, the term micronational is often imbued with the non-neutral meanings of both the words sect and cult, whether these attributes are true or not. In the first instance, a micronation is defined as 'eccentric', or in sect-like fashion; in the second instance, micronations are often said to be 'created and maintained by a single person or family group', or in a cult-like fashion.

So non-qualified people or people with nefarious agendas often describe micronations as being 'less-than-nations' (sects) or 'egonations' (cults), when in reality Fifth World nations are either small real communities (new religious movements) or they simply aren't nations at all.

20. DIGNITARY AWARDS EVIDENCE (Honorary)

As the 'Queen and Honours' page of the Official Website of The British Monarchy states, "An honour, decoration or medal is a public way of illustrating that the recipient has done something worthy of recognition."

Of course, in the United Kingdom the 'fountain of honour' (fons honoris) is The Queen, but an honour need not necessarily come from a sovereign. Moreover, honours or awards may be granted for particular achievements, but only foreign dignitaries are the recipients of honours or awards simply because they are foreign dignitaries, such has Heads of State, Prime Ministers, or other ministers/politicians.

21. NEGATIVE CAMPAIGNING EVIDENCE (Dishonorary)

Negative campaigning, also known more colloquially as "mudslinging", is trying to win an advantage by referring to negative aspects of an opponent or of a policy rather than emphasizing one's own positive attributes or preferred policies.

Negative campaigning can be found in most marketplaces where ideas are contested, but it is obvious that non-politicians are not exposed to it. Well, the Governor of the UMMOA has also been the victim of negative campaigning, which started on 7 November 2011, as the picture below shows.

22. EVIDENCE OF A NEW LEGAL SYSTEM (Legal)

On 8 August 2006, the HMRD Cesidio Tallini founded the Centre for Cesidian Law. By then the new legal system rooted in the three major concepts of jus cerebri electronici, jus cerebri humani, and jus humanae salutis was already quite developed. The jus cerebri electronici legal concept was conceived on 25 July 2003, and the jus cerebri humani and jus humanae salutis concepts saw their birth after the founding of the Centre for Cesidian Law, on 12 November 2007.

On 28 August 2009, the Cesidian law jurisdiction concept was launched, and this provided the Cesidian law-based legal system with opportunities for practical application. This growth in jurisprudence became fully apparent when on 11 February 2011 Cesidian law practically reached Siberia. So the reach of Cesidian law, besides North America, Central America, and Europe, has now extended to Asia through the Siberia part of Russia.
